A special meeting of the West Franklin USD #287 Board of Education was held prior to the regularly scheduled meeting to address budget republication at the Education Center in Pomona, Kansas. Board members present were: President Neal Baker, Mrs. Mary Ann Parkin, Mrs. Sheila Anderson, Mrs. Janie Dillon, Mr. Randy Hermreck, and Mrs. Nancy Reed. Also present were Dr. Susan Myers, Superintendent, and Mr. Robert Allen, principal of the West Franklin Learning Center.

President Neal Baker called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m.

The reasons for republishing the budget were discussed, with Dr. Myers pointing out that it was advantageous for the district to republish, since it would benefit the district with additional funding of $34,767.00.

Mrs. Mary Ann Parkin moved to accept the republished budget, and the motion was seconded by Mrs. Nancy Reed. Motion passed 6-0.

Meeting adjourned at 6:50 p.m.
